Do the following sentences make sense? "off to, go off to, head off on, headed to" Hi, this is just review my own study..do the following sentences make sense? I would greatly appreciate your help with my sentences.. A) I'm off to tropical vacations in the U.S. from next week(or today). B) I'm going off to tropical vacations in the U.S. from next week(or today). C) Here I am alone at the XX airport. I'm headed off on my tropical trip in the U.S. now. D) Here I am alone at the XX airport. I'm headed to tropical place in the U.S. for my tropical vacations now. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Ai! You would go off to a place, but off on a vacation. "I'm off to the U.S. for a tropical vacation next week." "I'm off on a tropical vacation in the U.S. next week." The use of "I'm going..." in your sentence is perfectly correct. I'd make "vacation" singular, because it's one event (like a trip). Hope that helps!
