I was wondering if there is a word for "copy" in german? What I mean by copy is the text that is written for promotional materials but mainly for websites. The context is "She has experience writing copy for websites".

There is no particular word for this in German. I would translate it with "Text".

Could you explain this term in more detail, and maybe include a link to an example? This is the first time I ever heard this term. And "copy" is too common for googling.
