You could start with songs that have an english version too. It might help to learn new lyrics over a well known melody. Thanks, Thomas, for your suggestion also. Turns out that I can get my hands on lots of Danish movies. I am absolutely going to do this when my grammar skills and vocabulary aren't as close to nill as they are now.)
