what`s the meaning of -blend r-?
today,I was just reading some papers about pronunciation that I saw this _blend r_.I didnt catch the meanig of this?

An 'r-blend' are when the letter 'r' comes after another consonant and combines with it. Examples of words beginning with 'r--blends' are:
bridge
crown
dry
frost
prince
trip

It's usually referred to as "r blend". But it's the same. It's combining the "r" sound with another consonant sound.
