I think you are repeating a  word that you have heard, but you are misspelling it and misundertstanding it.  What would work in that sentences is this:

"If I may conjecture...etc.  or  "We may conjecture that ...etc."

I agree with Susan612 - the sentence as written makes no sense.  Perhaps the word is 'suggest'?
