what is the function of '词' button in Google pinyin keyboard (on Android)?
I think there's a "`" in front of '词' on that button. Can anyone tell me the meaning?

oh i got it! the"词” means that词 is emphasized or have some special meaning.such as 我"喜欢"你，maybe the 喜欢 is not present 喜欢or even present not like

it's " ‘词 " ，a mark will go after what you have typed when you use this button, shows that you are gonna tpye another new word. And this word won't affect the former one.
eg: 平安 ping'an , not 聘干pin’gan
