سؤال عن اللغة العربية This week someone asked me an interesting question and I just wanted to post it here to get some thoughts and ideas. The question was this: What are some verbs that you may hear people in the Arab world frequently using that you would not expect to hear so often in the US? Some of the examples we came up with were these words صلى pray صام fast So, what are some verbs you can think of that you may have used a lot in your country, but you don't think American people would commonly use these words in daily life? One more question if I may: How would I say these sentences in Arabic? "He learns to recite the Holy Quran." "He goes to the Mosque where he listens to someone who is reciting the Holy Quran."
