Which phrase is correct?
1. We live in a region where the irrigated area is the largest in our country.
2. We live in a region where the area irrigated is the largest in our country.
P.S.: Is it compound adjective?

They're both correct, but the grammar is different.
In the first, 'the irrigated area' is a noun phrase made up of an article, an adjective and a noun.
In the second 'the area irrigated' is a condensed form of the phrase 'the area which is irrigated'.
