Why not use 'watched' in the sentence please?
She liked to be quiet and watch other people.
'liked' is in the past, so 'watch' should be 'watched', am I right?

'She liked' is followed by the infinitive 'to be quiet' and then by the infinitive [to] 'watch' other people. Therefore only one verb is in the past since the other two are infinitives. Hope this helps. Carmel
