Is this sentence right? If not,how to correct it? I read this in our exam paper, but I thought it sounded a little bit weird.I want to ask your opinion. Whatever our circumstances,we generally still have dreams, hopes, and desires---that little something more we want for ourselves and our loved ones.

Hello Liusu, The sentence is fine and fully comprehensible. It means whoever we are we still want the best for ourselves and our families. Hope this helps Bob
