In English, there are somo introduction on conversations? In brazilian portuguese we always ask an "introduction question" before starting a conversation or a chat. It is something like "hello, how are you?" or "hi, how long we didn't meet?". Most of the time we don't really need to answer this kind of question. Is it the same in english conversations?
