Take breakfast for example, there are varies choices you could take, steamed buns, jiaozi, noodles, Clay oven rolls, soybean milk, etc. Most Chinese people prefer these foods to hamburgers for breakfast, and these foods are much cheaper than hamburgers. Not to mention the eight main regional Chinese cuisines, they have a very long history and distinctive characteristics. Further more, eating in China has special meaning, especially at festivals, it’s to eat in a warm atmosphere , and is a way of symbolize family reunion and perfection. Therefore, I think globalization will have little effect on traditional Chinese eating habits.
