How do you say in Persian "She is a reserved, but very fair/just person"?
Hello,
I have a few questions.
1. How do you say "She is a reserved, but fair (i.e just) person".
I have the word کم حرف (for English word reserved), but I am not sure whether the Persian کم حرف has a negative connotation. I am looking for neutral adjective to describe a person who does not speak or express his/her emotions or opinion much.
2. What is the difference between دلگیر and دلتنگ ?
3. How do you say "bored" in Persian. I have خسته and بی حوصله but not sure which one actually means "bored" as opposed to tired or impatient.
4. How do you say " I usually get nervous during the exams". Is the word عصبی correct for this sentence?
5. and finally how do you say "S/he is very social" (i.e. a person who likes to hang our with friends, easily establishes contact with others, likes company, etc.)
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Jacob! :)
1. You can use “kam harf”, it’s a neutral word: “Oon aadame kam harfi ast, albatte kaamelan monsef hastesh”.. You can even say “oon ziaad por harf nist”, which means she is not a talkative person!
2. If you miss osmeone, you can say you are "deltang" for them! But if you’re sad or offended by what I said, you can say “Delgir shodam”!
3. For bored, you can say “bi hosele”, or “hosele-am sar rafte!”.. “Khaste” means tired physically or mentally..
4. “Man ma’amoolan sare emtehaan dast-paache (yaa moztareb) misham! {“asabi” is fine too, but it reminds me of “asabaani” which means angry in Persian!}
5. “Oon kheili ejtema’ee hast!” or “aadame khoon-garmi hast!”

There is also this word تودار which is used to describe a person who is reserved and keeps everything to himself/herself, but کمحرف is a more neutral word.

Hi,
The expression حوصلۀ کسی سر رفتن is another very common way to say that someone is bored
حوصلهام سر رفته است I'm bored
حوصلهاش سررفته است he/she is bored
For situations like exams you can say استرس دارم "I'm stressed out"
وقتی امتحان دارم، خیلی استرس دارم

1) That's a good translation for it.
2) delgir is upset, but deltang is about missing something/someone
3) khaste is "tired", but "be hosele" is impatient. So the best translation for "bored" is کسل /kesel/
or you can use this idiom:
حوصله ام سر رفته است.
I'm bored.
4) That's correct.
5) اجتماعی

2).خانه دلگیر است
.هوا دلگیر است
.من دلتنگ دوستم هستم
