Is there a difference between "Dankeschön", "Vielen Dank", "vielen herzlichen Dank" and "Danke"??

They are expressing more gratitude /are more cordial from "Danke" to "Vielen herzlichen Dank". Danke Dankeschön/Vielen Dank Vielen herzlichen Dank

Like in (probably) most languages: Using many words to say "thank you" means expressing it very intensely. However, too many words may be undersood as a sign of irony.
