Hi! I'm from Texas in the U.S and live in Japan now.
I'm just a few minutes away from a castle, and I go every few days for a quick hike.
I enjoy talking about the U.S., Japan, and other cultures as well as things like the news, movies, travel, programming, learning, teaching, food, and funny stories.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I've taught kids and adult full-time in Japan for 5 years and online for 3 years.
I read often about learning and teaching. As adults, we have some advantage over kids because we can better teach ourselves, and we have a native language to use as a foundation. With an effective and consistent study routine along with classes, everyone can reach their language goals, and that's what I aim to help students with!
I taught American high school students test preparation for the SAT and ACT for 2 years. This showed me that even native speakers need help with reading and writing!บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
My teaching style is to get students talking and having fun with a focus on speaking and listening skills. Even if you’re a beginner, there's no need to be embarrassed. Embrace mistakes!
To help you remember what you learn, I try to challenge you to think of the answer instead of telling you.
My main class is based on research about language, memory, and habits. We will discuss ideas for improving your learning.
