Hello, you can see in the video that I am a professional teacher occasionally tutoring from home. I have had a long career in adult education, in Australia where I grew up, and overseas. I taught English, supported vocational education, and worked in online course development. I don’t teach online every day so being an iTalki teacher is an additional interest I sometimes do. I have limited availability so please check my schedule. In my free time, I enjoy yoga, pilates, swimming, and cinema. I love learning about other cultures. I have been teaching for over 20 years. I love helping students from other cultures learn to understand English so that it empowers them in the world. First, I would like to find out why you are here. Are you an independent learner but just want some extra tips and support? Are you a student in class who needs to improve weak areas? Are you returning to study or work? Are you learning for fun? Next, I will support you with your language-learning goals. It is important to discuss your learning needs so book a trial lesson with me first so I can check your skills. I do not teach test preparation. I teach language in context and focus on the practice of the four macro-skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
