George is the best teacher on Italki. Really.

I have taken a textbook & grammar based Greek classes for a year with another iTalki teacher before I started my conversation classes with Giorgos in March this year. Before his class, despite having learned many verbs and vocabularies / grammars, I struggled to make sentences on my own. I can feel my Greek conversation has improved a lot since I started learning with Giorgos. He is very patient, and he is excellent in guiding me to figure out the correct conjugation of a verb, the correct adjective form, etc - so that i can form a correct sentence. His classes are fun while I learn how to speak Greek correctly. I highly recommend Giorgos to anyone wanting to learn Greek.

Ο Γεώργιος is a fantastic teacher - my Greek has improved so much from having lessons with him. He is very patient and great in helping me find the right words and grammar. He is also a lovely person and he really puts you at ease. I recently returned to Greece for a holiday and saw how much confidence his lessons have given me. I thoroughly recommend!!

George is making it fun and easy for me to learn Greek. I've been trying to learn greek for 20 years but never could go past some very basic stages. I find his way of teaching very effective, he synthesizes the grammar complexities in a clever way so that you can focus on the essential and absorb it fast. From there he will get you into basic conversations very fast. After 30 hours with him I'm already having the impression I can talk basic Greek now, while I only had some basic notions before starting with George.
