I’m Loisy Grace Lorena, from the Philippines. You may call me Teacher Grace or Miss Loisy. I was born and raised in the Philippines with Tagalog as my native and English as second language. Aside from my bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in English, I finished Diploma in Language and Literacy Education at the University of the Philippines Open University.
I am currently working as a public high school teacher, teaching English in my Hometown. I’ve come across professionals, college students in Vietnam when I became an exchange teacher intern there, also worked as an elementary teacher before. I can also teach Tagalog since it is my native language.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
As a teacher, I try to get to know my student first, determine their level, make them feel comfortable and confident and then look for best strategy I can use to help them. I am versatile and friendly as well.
I teach not only for content but to impart values in the process of learning. I take this matter seriously and see attitude as necessary factor for learning a language.
It’s more important that I am able o teach my student on how to learn and not what to learn. Because learning starts with your inner self, being determined and passionate to acquire the skill you long to have.บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
My lesson starts from simple to complex or depending on the needs and level of the learner.
I usually start with a short conversation or a motivational activity to make the student comfortable and remove pressure in the class/ situation.
With the lesson proper, I use a variety of teaching materials like presentation slides, images and videos. We can also sing if you want to. Likewise, I can also give you role playing activities where we can converse and try different scenarios to practice the language. I can help you with vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking skills.
The teaching strategy I use is student-centered. I’ll make sure to provide you an fun and interactive class.สื่อการสอนของฉัน
