i appreciate the patience Ryan has in his lessons. i’m not the easiest to work with because my portuguese is horrible at the moment but he takes the time to correct and inform in a positive way 🤝🏾💯

Ryan is an incredible teacher. He pays close attention to your needs and tailors plans to your skillset. He's very understanding of different struggles while learning and does his best to make sure you feel comfortable throughout the entire lesson. What I like the most is that he takes his time to write down every word you don't understand and provide definition, examples, and other helpful resources within a google doc. He is always on time and when I was late not only did he wait for me to arrive, but he also still allowed me to partake in the full hour of my lesson which is often not allowed elsewhere. I would recommend Ryan to anyone learning Brazilian Portuguese. We've covered reading, podcast, speaking, listening, and video material in just our 3 lessons so far. Can't wait to continue seeing my progress on this journey !

Ryan’s methods of using different kinds of “videos and genres” is an exciting way for me to gain stronger understanding of Portuguese. It’s an interactive way for me to learn and retain. I’m utilizing the methods and suggestions that he teaches so that I can gain further confidence interacting with Brazilians that I meet here in the States.

It’s great and necessary practice. Ryan is a very supportive teacher. He understands, empathizes and has patience with the fact that language learning is a process.
