I worked in the private sector for over 25 years and as a trainer for commercial professions. I also worked as a job application coach and a vegan nutritionist. I am 57 years old and live in Germany. I like to travel and am often in Spain.

My lessons are tailored to your needs. Once we get to know each other, I will prepare the lessons individually for you. We can have a relaxed chat. We can practice conversational situations, e.g. B. Job interviews, visits to authorities or "meetings", but of course also marriage proposals <3 or lectures ;) . I can also help you with writing and reading. We can "cram" grammar or create application documents. I focus on your goals. I select the teaching material accordingly for you personally. Ich empfehle Janine jedem, der seine Deutschkenntnisse verbessern und die Sprachprüfung mit einer hohen Punktzahl bestehen möchte.
Als Ergebnis habe ich den mündlichen Teil der B1-Prüfung mit 100 von 100 Punkten bestanden.
Wir arbeiten weiter daran, das gleiche Ergebnis in der B2-Prüfung zu erreichen.

- My vocabulary has grown significantly. After each lesson, I make Anki flashcards of words I didn't know, and that deck already has over 1,000 cards—common words & phrases NOT found in the Goethe Institute's A1–B1 vocab lists.
- My German is sounding more natural. Janine helps rephrase awkward/atypical sentences.
- Janine is reliable. No canceled classes and never late. During class her focus has always been 100% on the lesson, with no distractions.
- I really enjoy my classes thanks to Janine's calm, friendly teaching style. It's like learning German in sandbox mode. I get to try out all kinds of new words & grammar, fail constantly, and it doesn't matter. Janine helps me figure it all out, and I learn a lot in the process. I've already booked more classes and look forward to continuing my progress toward German fluency.
