Hello everyone! My name is Erva — a certified teacher, book editor, and passionate language learner from Türkiye. I am fluent in Turkish, English, and Arabic, and currently pursuing my PhD in Anthropology with a focus on Middle Eastern cultures and societies. This academic journey has deepened my understanding of language as a window into identity, history, and the human experience. Beyond languages, I have a deep interest in literature, art, music, travel, psychology, and philosophy. Learning a language is like a river that is constantly flowing, we first try to figure it out a little bit and then we let ourselves go with the flow. I am someone who has gone through this process and managed to surrender myself to the language at the end of the day. Therefore, I can support you in overcoming all the difficulties in learning a language. We can navigate this river by being flexible, not afraid of making mistakes and exploring. Remember, every word you learn brings you one step closer to fluency. Don't be afraid to make mistakes – they're the stepping stones to success. Don't be afraid to make mistakes and be yourself. We will embark on a language journey that is highly flexible, relaxed, and immersed in everyday life. Our guide will be our courage. I am interested in energetic, flexible, efficient and conversational classes. My goal is to foster a vibrant classroom atmosphere where every student feels inspired and encouraged. I believe in interactive and engaging sessions, where discussions flow freely, mistakes are seen as learning opportunities, and each student's unique journey is celebrated. Erva is a fantastic teacher - she was able to adapt to my level of understanding very quickly and made a great plan for the lesson. Erva uses nice and simple PDFs to help understanding and is happy to explain things that you ask questions for. The hour went by so quickly. I was very happy with the lesson and will be returning on a regular basis. :):)

I just had my very first lesson with Erva and it was wonderful! :)
I booked my lesson with her because I wanted to brush up my Turkish skills as a native who was born and raised abroad. We discussed my goals and what to expect the following lessons. Erva is a very warm teacher and it was lots of fun for me learning with her :) I’d definitely recommend her!!

Great first lesson with teacher Erva. She is very helpful and crafts the lesson with great care according to the student’s level. She has very organised materials and shares them with the student after class. I felt very comfortable asking questions a studying with her.

I highly recommend Erva as she is a great teacher who explains clearly and makes learning easier.
With her, I feel I’m progressing in the language smoothly and consistently. She really cares about your level of understanding and makes the lessons enjoyable and really effective.
