Hello! I am Yuu. I'm a native Japanese speaker.I live with my foreign partner and my dog.I am said to be patient and calm.
I like languages, animals, anime and manga. "Dialogue" and "Thinking" are very important to me.
Also, I'm learning English and French so I am a fellow language learner, like you :)
So, "Can I speak well?", "What if I make a mistake?" I understand these worries. So don't worry. I am committed in making our time together safe and comfortable.

2017 : Started to teach Japanese to foreign friends
2021 : Started Japanese teacher certification class and teaching on italki
2023 : Got the Japanese Teacher Certification
Now: Learning about coaching and exploring how to integrate teaching and coaching.
My first priority is to make you feel comfortable and at ease in the lessons.
I will introduce new words and expressions in the conversation at a pace appropriate to your level and help you correct your pronunciation. I am here to keep you motivated. I am happy to support you in any way I can so that you can grow while having fun in the process.

I offer 2 type of lesson.
1. conversation lesson: you can practice conversation on a variety of topics ranging from daily conversation to topic talk about social issues.
2. conversation lesson with coaching: In this lesson, I will coach you on any kind of problems or goal you want to achieve.
My lessons will be conducted in Japanese as much as possible. I will speak slowly in easy Japanese according to your level.
I also use typing for easier review.
I wish you can relax and learn as if you were talking to a friend or family member.

I strongly recommend her as a tutor for Japanese learners who would like to improve their speaking skills. I take her conversation lessons and she’s super friendly and easygoing. She provides a warm and safe place for you to practice, and she’s able to give corrections without interrupting the flow of the conversation. She’s very skilled at giving you the correct vocabulary and phrases to practice, and will do her best to cater to your level and any topics you’d like to cover! She is very professional as a tutor, but also very warm - like a good friend! I’ve gained a lot of confidence thanks to her lessons.
