Native Arabic speaker Hi I am Yasmeen Ireikat. I live in Amman, Jordan. I love talking to people and getting to know them. I made a lot of friends around the world through the internet and I always found it so exciting sharing my culture and language with them, it brings me joy to see people from around the world getting to know me and me trying to teach them my language which is Arabic. I believe that I will be a great community teacher and will bring value to Italki. As a teacher I would focus on how to have a proper conversation in Arabic, how to talk to other people and use the right vocabulary in every days conversations. I will give them examples from real life, quizzes, google documents, audio and video files and a lot of fun activities. I believe that learning should be fun and simple so I will make sure that they have a good time while learning. My lessons will mainly be about conversations and how to talk to others in Arabic. I will also be teaching them proper pronunciation and the Jordanian accent that is the most understood accent among the Middle East. I will provide them with google sheets and some practice material so that the learning process it much smoother and easy going. I have two levels to offer and each one has its own material and approach. I believe that every student has a different mindset so I will try to cope as we go.
