Over the past several months I have had the pleasure of taking lessons from Olga. I am amazed at how much progress I've been able to make due to her support and guidance! Through the use of a wide range of materials, including short films, documentaries, classic movies, audio books, and textbooks, I have been able to practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing. We've also discussed cultural and historical information. She leaves corrections in the chat, which can be reviewed after the lesson. Olga knows exactly how to keep the conversation flowing at a level that is appropriate for me. I always leave the lessons feeling confident because Olga plays to my strengths while gently pushing me to the next level. I would highly recommend Olga to anyone who is serious about improving their Russian.

Olga is a really solid ‘textbook’ teacher with modern methods included. Lessons are always challenging, but explanations are extremely thorough. We spend most of our time talking and improving conversational skills whilst polishing grammar where needed. A key skill of a teacher is the ability to maintain the flow of conversation, and for me this is Olga’s real strength, to find out what you are interested in and to ensure no awkward periods of silence etc.

It's been quite a while since I last left a review for Olga. I've been studying with her for several years now. In between, I paused my lessons to focus on my master's degree, but when I decided to pick up Russian again, she was the first person I thought of, and I didn't hesitate to come back. Olga is honestly one of the most organized and patient teachers I've ever worked with. What I really appreciate is that she has kept a consistently high standard over the years, and every lesson feels well-prepared and meaningful. More importantly, I feel that I can truly trust her to guide me through my Russian learning journey. Learning with her has always been a positive and motivating experience, and I always look forward to our lessons. If you're looking for a teacher who is reliable, supportive, and genuinely cares about your progress, I would definitely recommend Olga.

After completing 25 lessons with Olga, I can't help but highly recommend her. Each session, each question has a reason to be asked. The attention to detail she puts into each class is what impresses me the most. She makes me feel unique. After 1 month and 9 lessons with Olga, I decided to take a test, received her good luck wishes, and... We managed to achieve the A2 certification! Now, we've finished our 25th lesson. I just came from a chess club in Moscow, and it's still difficult for me to believe that everyone understands me. I participate during class, make my friends laugh, and create job opportunities. If I had known that having a teacher could yield these results so quickly, I wouldn't have wasted those 10 months in vain. Thank you so much for being my mentor. I have been learning Russian with Olga for over a year, and every lesson feels like a refreshing escape from my busy work life — something I genuinely look forward to. Olga is incredibly knowledgeable. Olga is an absolute professional. We've had 23 one hour lessons up until now, and she is by leaps and bounds the best Russian teacher I've ever studied with. She is very adept at recognizing deficiencies in her students, and adapts her lessons to address those deficiencies. She pushes her students to expand their vocabulary, develop proper sentence structure and improve grammar, even during conversation without constantly interrupting dialog. Where Olga truly shows her professionalism and care for her students is in the homework she makes, and I use the word make deliberately. The exercises she creates are based specifically on the student's deficiencies, and addresses mistakes committed during lessons. I admire and appreciate how much effort Olga puts into making and checking the homework, and feel indebted to her for using so much time outside of our lessons to work on it. I am a B2-C1 level, serious student of the Russian language and I strongly recommend Olga!
