I have been taking lessons with Jihoon Ssaem since June 2022 and every single lesson has been effective and worthwhile. What I love most about taking classes with Jihoon Ssaem is his ability and willingness to accommodate to the needs of the learner. This makes every single lesson valuable. Also, he is very friendly and has a great personality. I look forward to every lesson with him and highly recommend him as a teacher.

I highly recommend 지훈 쌤 whether you want to start learning Korean or deepen your knowledge. I’ve had quite a few lessons with 지훈 쌤 already, and I can really see my skills improve with every lesson. The teacher suggested a variety of exercises and approaches to lessons until we settled on the one that suited my needs and interests. 지훈 쌤 is very patient and helps comprehend every aspect of the Korean language and culture.

Really excellent teacher. He is understandable and meets you at your level. I also like that he keeps a document for you with items discussed that you can review later. Highly recommend.

It’s rare to find a teacher who has an answer to all your questions and deliver them in an illustrative manner. Equally important, when unsure, Jihoon takes the time to research and find the answer for me before the next class. His instructional skills are phenomenal. Jihoon will make you feel at ease as he guides you to meet your Korean learning goals.

It always feels so nice to go through a lesson and understand the grammar and vocabulary. Jihoon_Ssaem is great at providing motivation and encouragement, with the right mix of hard work and gentle conversation.

Through Jihoon_Ssaem’s excellent guidance I am moving into harder material with more confidence. It’s a challenge but I know he’s there to explain and encourage. It’s Thanksgiving here and I’m grateful for many things, including having such a wonderful teacher!
