As a teacher, I see myself as someone who supports and encourages my students while they learn. I’ve been teaching English for about six years, working with children, teenagers, and adults from different countries such as Korea, Japan, China, and parts of Europe.
I’m from the Philippines, and I can speak Filipino, Cebuano, English, and some Korean. Because I’ve experienced learning languages myself, I understand that it can sometimes feel difficult or even a little scary to speak in a new language. Hello! I like to make my classes practical, interactive, and fun. I use quizzes, short exercises, and homework to help students practice and remember what they’ve learned. I also like summarizing lessons and using visuals, examples, and real-life topics, including articles, science, and history, so learning feels connected to the world around us.
