Hello, I'm Esra. I was born and raised in Turkey. I live in İstanbul, I am a native Turkish speaker. - I am a graduate of Gazi University International Relations and I received a "Teaching Turkish to Foreigners" Teaching Certificate from Istanbul University Language Center, which prepares ISTANBUL books that are highly preferred in teaching Turkish to foreigners. I have lived in many cities of Turkey, I can say that I grew up as a multicultural Turkish person. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I have been teaching for a long time. I am happy to help those who are interested in Turkish and I enjoy working with students from all over the world with different stories and experiences.
I believe that the main motivation of life is curiosity. Learning is my reason for living and I will have many reasons with you. I understand that learning a new language can be scary sometimes, but it's also a very exciting adventure. I want to guide you in this exciting adventure. I have a very clear diction. Learning Turkish with Esra is such a joy. She's very organized, knowledgeable, passionate, patient, encouraging, and prepared. Basically, everything you want in a teacher. She's also great because she adapts to your level, needs, goals, and learning style. I definitely will be coming back and recommend her.

The lesson with Esra was very valuable. I understand some aspects of Turkish language I had been struggling for some time now. She’s kind and patient. Her explanations are very clear and she switches to English when necessary to help understanding better the topic. She’s very knowledgeable and finds easy examples to explain complicated concepts.
