Hello, everyone! I am Lise, nice to meet you all!
I am always passionate about learning and teaching languages. Generally, I can speak three languages: Native in Mandarin, Fluent in English (IELTS Score 7.5), Conversational proficiency in French (DALF C1).
Apart from languages, I like trying different kinds of sports in my spare time, such as yoga, crossfit, Muay Thai and jiu-jitsu. I also like travelling and making new friends! :)ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
As a teacher, I have qualified background of teaching. I was majored in Chinese Language and Literature for bachelor in Beijing Normal University in China. And I also have a master degree of Comparative Literature in King’s College London in UK.
Besides, I have teaching experiences both in Chinese and English. In my undergraduate study, I teached Chinese Literature for 3 months intership in high school in Beijing. Personally, I am very patient and helpful. I could explain Chinese words and grammar clearly in simple Chinese, or English or French, adapted to different students.
I mainly provide different levels of Chinese lessons as follows：

* Real Life Conversation: Plenties topics to choose from or free conversations as you like. Help you build confidence and fluency!

I took Lise’s Chinese literature class. She was well prepared with slides and included pinyin and English meaning when I didn’t understand something. She was very patient and encouraging as I tried to read and discuss the poem we learned. This is such a fun way to learn Chinese, I highly recommend trying it! Also, she spoke clearly in a way that I could understand. Will definitely be taking more classes with her.

Lise teaches me a lot about Classical Chinese and Chinese philosophy (Confucianism, Daoism etc) lately, she has got a profound knowledge in this field, teaches it very well structured and the lessons are very enjoyable. It is really exciting to learn about the old Chinese culture by actual old texts. So if you are also interested in this particular field, Lise is definitely a very good teacher for you!

I have been studying Chinese with Lise for a month now. I highly recommend her to anybody interested in Mandarin and Chinese culture. Her lessons are always very organized and interesting. I really feel that I am making progress with her.
