I was able to practice my conversational skills and she helped me with new vocabulary and gave me ideas for our next lesson. The class was interesting and the time went fast.

Cynthia is a great teacher. She always has a good lesson planned for each class, and has a lot of resources to help you learn. She is great at helping you along when you need it, but she also knows when to make you push yourself instead of just giving you answers that you actually know. She also speaks very clear in both languages so it is very easy to understand her in English or Spanish. I'm learning Spanish faster than I would have ever thought possible, thanks to Cynthia's help. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone that speaks English and wants to learn Spanish or vice-versa.

Cynthia has my highest recommendation for anyone looking for a highly professional, knowledgeable, and interesting/fun Spanish teacher. I first came across her lessons from a Spanish learner on Youtube who chronicles his journey learning Spanish with tutors on italki. I noticed in her lesson with the Youtuber how easy it was to understand her Spanish. She also spoke amazing English which was important to me as someone at the low-intermediate level because I wanted a teacher who could easily toggle back and forth from Spanish to English. So, I booked a lesson with her and I can honestly say that she earns all of her rave reviews. Her lessons are organized and well-thought-out for my personal needs ( I asked for lots of grammar lessons). She is encouraging when I get something right (I love positive reinforcement!) & super helpful & gentle in her corrections when I say something wrong. She is truly the perfect Spanish teacher. Book with her, you won't regret it!
