Yuka Nakai

Had an enjoyable first lesson with Ms. Yuka. She's easy to talk to and provided notes to help with my learning. Will definitely schedule more lessons with her soon.

She was adaptable to my needs/concerns about Japanese. In particular, regarding casual speech usage and increasing familiarity with using is naturally.

Yuka-san set a comfortable environment, allowing me to feel at ease while speaking. She was patient, and explained herself thoroughly when I didn’t understand something or made a mistake. We had a great conversation and it flew by! Would recommend.

Yuka was very helpful and very kind. She understood what I needed from my lesson and she gave good advice.

Since this was an intro lesson, Yuka Sensei was eager to learn about me and we discussed materials, goals, and her teaching methodology. Even in 30 minutes, I felt reassured that her teaching style will help me continue improving my Japanese.

I really enjoyed my conversation with Yuka. She's an interesting person and has a unique perspective, living in a very small town in Japan. At the same time, she has also spent time abroad, studying and working in New Zealand. Try her "show and tell" lesson! It's fun!
