Hello! ¡Hola! Servus! I’m Karl-Heinz from Vienna. My career in journalism has spanned more than 40 years, involving the international press and EU institutions — a world where communication is everything. While English served as my professional lingua franca, Spanish has always been my “amor secreto.” Because of this, I know firsthand the challenges and worries that come with learning a foreign language, but I also know the incredible sense of fulfillment that follows. I joined italki to share my passion for the spoken word. I firmly believe that the most effective way to master a language is through authentic conversation, mirroring the natural way we acquired our mother tongue. It is about so much more than just memorizing vocabulary or sentence structures; as a famous Austrian philosopher once said, "The limits of your language are the limits of your world." My approach is patient, organized, and deeply individualized. I don’t believe in a "one-size-fits-all" method; instead, I offer tailored coaching that adapts to your unique pace and goals. When I’m not teaching, I’m usually pursuing my other passions: riding my motorbike, playing hockey, paragliding, or skiing. I look forward to helping you expand your horizons—let’s start the conversation!
