My name is Alexandra and I have a big passion for TRAVELLING! I am bilingual Italian and German. I LIVE TO TRAVEL and immerse myself in different cultures for a long time. I have travelled in Europe, have lived in Mexico and am currently in India. Travelling is amazing, but without knowing the local language, there will always be a missing piece: language is the key to access a deeper understanding of culture. I want to give you this key for German! I started teaching online in 2022 and before that, I was teaching in middle school in Italy. Besides my job as a teacher, I silversmith and upcycle clothing.

I'm professional and friendly at the same time. I'm laughing a lot with my students, and it's impossible for me not to create a warm, personal, playful but always focused atmosphere. I'm very diligent, organised and precise, so you'll have to work and learn. I just think that it's possible to make learning an amazing and joy-filling experience. I agree with Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences: some teaching methods work amazingly with some people but don't work at all with others. I don't have a fixed teaching method. I do have my own teaching style, but I adapt it do what I see works best for each single student. At the moment I am only offering classes based on conversation. They are not purely speaking classes: starting from a conversation on a specific topic, we will learn the relevant vocabulary and grammar structures.

We had a great class today! Began with some homework review, did a couple of exercises together. One of which was a structured improvised exercise. I could rely on the structure of the prompts but at the same time be creative with the answers. All the while Alexandra would help and guide be through it
