Hello, my name is Buzwekazi, and I'm an English tutor. I am known as Buzz to people around me. I'm a native English speaker from South Africa. Xhosa is my home language, and I learned Afrikaans as a second language from primary to secondary school.
I love to learn new things, and I believe nobody is too old to learn anything or stop learning. I want to instill a love of learning in my students. Learning is life-long and should be fun.
My hobbies include reading, watching movies and documentaries, listening to music, and taking long walks.

I'm a TEFL Certified tutor with experience teaching English as a second language to adults at a beginner level in a group setting.
I believe that the role of a teacher is not just to teach but to establish a relationship with students and create a comfortable learning environment. When the teacher and student can learn from and understand one another, the learning experience will be much easier, and the learning process will be more relaxed and enjoyable.

My lessons are focused on basic conversational English, as I want you to master the basics.
The lessons will cover everyday topics, and you will get to practice these conversations with me. I will make corrections where needed. I am flexible with the topics you wish to discuss in lessons, as my mission is to help you become comfortable and confident in speaking English. We can achieve this by talking about your interests.
My lessons will be 1-to-1 tutoring, as I want to focus on your individual needs. I tailor lessons to your interests and needs.
