As your teacher, you'll observe that I'm very adaptable, laid-back, and curious.
I will give you positive motivation, but I won't do the work for you!
It's worth noting that I am a certified TESOL teacher.
I will give you my support during your process and we will find the best ways to make this new experience enjoyable and pleasant.
I don't think learning a new language is hard or difficult, but rather a long journey of patient and beautiful discoveries!

Mika is so wonderful, I really appreciate her willingness to correct me often and explain things. It also feels great having a teacher I can culturally relate to. Conversations with her have made me all the more excited about potentially moving to Québec.

It was a little confusing. I'd prepared the homework but I think she forgot about it until I mentioned it at the end. I read it, but she didn't correct anything & I know there were errors. The iTalki platform cut out on her several times, so that was disconcerting. I think things will get better once I get used to this program.
