Mika Lachapelle

Mika has been helping me with my conversational French and she does a great job. She's patient with my mistakes and bad pronunciation, provides a fun learning atmosphere.

Mika est une excellente enseignante . J'ai déjà 5 cours avec elle. Elle est toujours souriante et est ouverte à discuter. Elle me corrige lorsque je fais des erreurs et ce, de façon très respectueuse. Parfois je lis un texte et elle corriger ma prononciation. Je sens que je progresse et je la recommande.

It was a little confusing. I'd prepared the homework but I think she forgot about it until I mentioned it at the end. I read it, but she didn't correct anything & I know there were errors. The iTalki platform cut out on her several times, so that was disconcerting. I think things will get better once I get used to this program.

Mika is fun to learn French with. I learned a lot about my current capabilities and how I can improve. Thanks!

Enjoyable conversation with gentle feedback about errors and help with some expressions and difficult vocabulary. She also recommended an excellent web site for books.
