👋 Bonjour, I’m Damien!
🇫🇷 Native French speaker from Lyon, now teaching French full-time with a background in graphic design and illustration (inspired by traditional Japanese ukiyo-e style).
🌍 I've also lived in Amsterdam, Australia, and Japan – so I know what it feels like to learn (and live!) in another culture.
🚴♂️ I cycled all around Japan (an adventure I’ll never forget) and also have interest in reading books, motorcycle touring, surfing, hiking and art.
🗣️ I speak French and English, and Japanese (learning in progress).
I teach French to learners of all levels, with a strong concentration from A2 to C1.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน

Excellent teacher!!! It is very easy to communicate with Damien (even so my French is not the best). He can talk to you about different topics and the conversation is always interesting, easy and pleasant. Having lots of teachers in my life, I can say that Damien is one of the best. You leave his lessons happy, smiling and of course with something new you have learnt. Strongly recommend Damien!!

I can't think how many years I've studied with Damien for but he is just the best. Every conversation just flies past and you are always so at ease. I feel that Damien has been so key to my process in speaking more fluently, he really is such a wonderful teacher.
