Hello, nice to meet you! My name is Natacha, i'm brazilian and a native portuguese speaker! I am currently pursuing a degree in Languages - Portuguese at the Federal University, but I have had experience with tutoring, academic work assistance, translation, transcription, customer service, tutoring, and also freelance proofreading for over five years already!

As someone who has been tutoring and helping for about six years now, I believe that more important than quantity is the quality of teaching. Try to understand if the teaching is really having an effect, if the student is really understanding which results we are trying to achieve. So, what I have in mind when I am teaching is not just to make the student memorize the subject, but to make him/her remember what he/she has learned and to make it useful in his/her daily life!

My teaching style is focused on making the student understand what we are studying as a whole. Thus, based on images, texts, videos, or presentations that are showed to the student, the idea is to try to make them think about the content to finally be able to give them the full explanation. Always leaving time, of course, to ask questions and do activities that help them put into practice what they have learned!

Really nice conversation practice classes - she is very easy to talk to, and really patient as well when you are struggling to think of how to say something. She doesn't interrupt also, and notes down words/phrases that you struggle with in the class which is really helpful. Her English is really good as well, which is nice as she can translate words/phrases if you don't understand them or know how to translate them into Portuguese.
