Hi!
My name is Raquel Escobar. I am from Oaxaca, Mexico. I have a degree in Music, I play the oboe (maybe now you are wondering what is that) but I also enjoy playing guitar and discover new music every day. I am really into arts, I love drawing, painting and do some woodworking. Recently I am very interested in tattoos, so in the future I will love to be a tattoo Artist.
I also really enjoy swimming, dancing and going into the nature, I love discovering new places. I really love to teach and talk with people, for me is not only about sharing knowledge, It is about sharing culture.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I think patience is one of my best qualities, also I like to make feel the others that the class is a safe place to ask, share and also to make mistakes and try to understand why they happened and how we can fix them. We can talk about many topics, feel free to ask. There are many ways to learn, so be sure your class will be customized.
I tutor from beginners to intermediate, all ages. If you are a total beginner or an advanced but looking to gain confidence and improve your vocabulary, you are welcome. บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
In our first class we will get to know each other, so let me know your goals and interests and we will discuss and design your class.
This will be a conversation practice. We'll listen to one another and correct one another. Our classes will be student-centered, you to learn new words, expressions and understand them in different contexts. Please, feel free to make mistakes, they can lead us to knowledge.
I will find topics that you are interested in learning and teach in a method that you prefer.

Raquel was very warm and non-judgmental, even with my limited Spanish! She spoke more when I said I needed more practice listening, and asked me questions to prompt me to speak as well. Plus, she had some great recommendations for my trip to Mexico City (in Spanish, of course)!
