Ragini

Great lesson with Ragini! We focused the lesson on asking and answering questions. Ragini has the right idea that my speaking ability is what needs the most effort now, since we almost completed all the chapters of the textbook. It was a bit difficult being out of my comfort zone, but it helped me learn. Thanks to Ragini for being able to adapt the lesson to what is important!

Great lesson with Ragini! We continued learning about transitive and intransitive verbs. We did several exercises - transformation drills, etc. Ragini showed me that we made it almost through the entire textbook, which is impressive. Ragini is always positive and motivating!

Ms. Ragini was very encouraging and she spoke at a level that I could understand. I learned a lot from this lesson, and I would highly recommend.

Great lesson with Ragini! We looked at the sentences that I translated, and Ragini helped me fix them. We also practiced the "should" grammar point, then did a question/answer. Since the sentences that I translated were pretty advanced, we spent some time to go through and really understand them. Ragini is good at keeping me challenged with things that are not too easy and not too difficult. The next challenges are mostly around speaking, which will be very exciting!

Great lesson with Ragini! We spent the lesson working on transitive vs. intransitive verbs. In English, we use the same verbs but in Hindi the verbs are different (similar, but different) when they are used transitively vs. intransitively. I asked Ragini to check my pronunciation for both versions, which definitely helped. Ragini said that understanding the difference is very important, and it makes a lot more sense after Ragini explained it!

Great lesson with Ragini! We spent a good deal of time practicing speaking skills, where I was answering Ragini's questions. Although I made errors, Ragini was patient and helpful. The effort is worth it because it is important to develop my speaking ability. We also reviewed the sentences I wrote about "an adventurous time". Ragini is taking the right approach to help me improve!
