My name is Yunus. I live in Turkey and I’m a native speaker of Turkish. I’ve been teaching Turkish to foreigners for almost ten years. I graduated from Istanbul University and completed my master's degree in the same field. I attended many programs and seminars on teaching Turkish to foreigners. I have “Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language” certificate which is issued by Istanbul University. I can help you with basic language skills, writing, reading, daily language, exam preparation, pronunciation, speaking and so on. I like to travel abroad, make international friends, and talk about other cultures, languages, literature, history and art.I am open-minded, energetic,frienldy and positive.

As a teacher, I am very patient. I teach my lessons in a planned and programmed way. That's why I first identify your deficiencies and needs in Turkish, then I prepare a roadmap that suits your needs. I teach at all levels. I do my lessons in an active and fun way. With my ten years of experience, I spent a lot of time with students from different cultures of the world so I know what you need for Turkish. It will be a great pleasure for me to help you in your Turkish journey. Be sure that I am going to do my best to help you reach your targets and goals. Also, unlike other teachers, I am an expert in Ottoman Turkish.If you are interested in Ottoman Turkish or you need to improve it I'm here.

In my classes, I follow a different method for each student. Although I usually focus on the conversation, I do not neglect other points. Because I believe that it is necessary to learn the language as a whole. It is very important for the student to be active in the lesson. I try to make sure that the students have fun as much as possible during lessons. Because motivation is of vital importance for both teacher and student. At the end of the lessons, you will realize that you have progressed a lot in terms of vocabulary, speaking, grammar and comprehension. More importantly, you will not only learn the language, but also acquire the language.

Turkish TeacherTurkish Maarif Foundation - Yaounde, คาเมรูนIn 2019, I went to Yaounde, the capital of Cameroon, to teach Turkish through the Turkish Maarif Foundation. Africa is a different geography. So teaching a language in this geography is a very different opportunity for a teacher. English and French are spoken in the country. Teaching there improved my teaching experience a lot. I also learned some French there.
