Elif

Elif is a fantastic Turkish teacher. She structures my lessons gives me homework and let's me ask questions all the time. She goes above and beyond for her students. I am entirely grateful for her support and encouragement. She has become a very good friend in addition too. We not only talk about our lives in class but share stories, whilst trying to learn how to speak in Turkish. She breaks down the grammatical aspects of Turkish into small bite sized chunks to help tackle the challenging nature of Turkish language. She is a superstar and I would recommend her to anyone who asked!!

I take conversation lessons with Elif and I couldn't imagine a better teacher! Every conversation we have is like talking to a friend over coffee. Elif is always super patient when I need a little longer to formulate my answer. If I don't know what to say, I can ask her in English, because her English is very good. However, we try to speak as much Turkish as possible and only switch to English in ‘emergencies’. She writes new words or improved sentence constructions in the chat so that I can look over them again after the lesson. On request, she gives me homework, which we then go through together at the end of our lesson, improve and discuss. She is also incredibly motivating and draws my attention when she notices improvements or when I have used complex sentence structures well. So I always leave the lessons totally satisfied with my Turkish and am already looking forward to the next one! Çok teşekkürler Elif! 🤩

Very Noisy environment

Elif is a TREASURE of a teacher...do NOT wait, search no more, book her now!! She's kind, patient, encouraging, and very clear in her explanations. We went through a sample dialogue very deliberately and carefully, having a good look at the present continuous but also endings and vowel/consonant changes. She is a wonderful guide and I feel really motivated to continue with her help.

Bir kez daha harika bir sohbet için çok teşekkürler! Elif is one of the most engaging conversation partners I’ve ever had — and not just in Turkish, but in general! We talk about things that really interest me, and along the way, she naturally incorporates new words to help take my Turkish to the next level. Because of my current language skills, I still find it very difficult to share truly deep thoughts. But I always feel that she understands me perfectly anyway, while at the same time motivating me to strive for a higher level of proficiency so that one day I can accurately express what’s going on in my head.
