My name is Sungmi Kim, and I am a certified Korean language teacher from South Korea.
I have over 10 years of experience teaching Korean to international students and multicultural learners at universities, schools, and language centers in Korea. I currently teach Korean at Dongyang University and multicultural education centers.
I majored in Korean Language Education for Foreigners at Hanyang University Graduate School of Education and hold a Level 1 Korean Language Teacher Certificate.
My classes are friendly, patient, and customized to each student’s level and goals. Whether you want to improve speaking, pronunciation, grammar, TOPIK, or daily conversation, I will help you step by step in a comfortable learning environment.
I especially enjoy helping students speak Korean more naturally and confidently through practical conversation practice.

Bachelor’s - 불어교육I studied French Education at Sangmyung University, where I learned not only the French language but also foreign language teaching methods and language acquisition.
Through this experience, I became deeply interested in how students learn languages and communicate across cultures. This naturally led me to specialize in Korean language education for foreign learners and multicultural students.
2010 - 2013
ปริญญาโท - 외국인을위한한국어교육전공I completed a master’s degree program in Korean Language Education for Foreigners at Hanyang University Graduate School of Education.
Through this program, I studied Korean teaching methods, curriculum design, language acquisition, classroom assessment, and learner-centered teaching strategies.
This academic background helped me develop practical teaching skills for students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
