こんにちは！I’m Masami, a dedicated Japanese teacher with over 20 years of experience. I specialize in adapting to your needs, JLPT preparation, practical conversational Japanese and authentic cultural knowledge, including tea ceremony, calligraphy etc. Born and raised in Japan, I have also lived across Europe and China, allowing me to blend deep Japanese cultural roots with a broad global perspective. Outside the classroom, I enjoy practicing tea ceremony, playing classical music (oboe and piano), and creating vegan dishes. As a passionate language learner myself (Dutch C2, Spanish A2, Chinese B1, German, French, Korean), I understand the challenges that come with starting a new language. I have experience in teaching Japanese for more than 20 years, having started in Japan, then in Austria, UK, the Netherlands and in China. I have taught from small children to adults, in various institutes from language schools to High schools. I can explain the logic of grammars in a simple way so that you can understand it well. Moreover, I love communicating with people and love to see my students improve with their language skills as to talk more about themselves to me. I myself also love learning languages. Voor de Nederlanders onder ons die graag Japans willen leren maar geen adequate Japanse lessen in hun stad of dorp hebben, is Masami echt fantastisch. Ze kan heel goed Nederlands waardoor het een stuk makkelijker is om op te pikken. Daarnaast kan ze het ook heel goed uitleggen en kan ze tussendoor ook vragen beantwoorden over de Japanse cultuur. Ze heeft mij heel goed voorbereid voor mijn reis naar Japan. Echt een aanrader om lessen bij te volgen!
