SiSwati teacher who makes every lesson a beautiful experience using stories, poems & jokes. Hello :) I am a bubbly girl from a beautiful kingdom known as eSwatini (formerly Swaziland) in the Southern region of Africa. I am a beautician by profession and enjoy making people look as good as they feel. I am also a BA (Hons) Business Management student at Buckinghamshire New University in the UK. I am grateful for online learning because I get to study at prestigious universities across the world from the comfort of my home, and I get to teach students online on iTalki. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about their cultures and interests as this is a way of seeing the world through a different set of eyes. I am the type of teacher who aims to make learning an enjoyable experience. I allow students to talk about topics of their interest because I believe this will make learning more easier. In the beginner lessons you will learn conversational SiSwati. So you and I will be talking about our daily lives, as you would with a friend. But we will maintain a classroom setting so as to ensure that you are getting educated and fluent in SiSwati through our conversations. However, SiSwati is a descriptive language that is best learnt through idioms, stories, poems and some physical activity. So, there will be use of these methods as we indulge further in our lessons.

Lindo is a great teacher because she encourages interaction and kindly corrects if need be. Lindo cares about her students understanding the language, but also teaches on the culture of Eswatini to acclimate students to a culture of respect and out of caution for avoiding a misinterpretation. I highly recommend hiring Lindo as your teacher because she is kind, lively, fun, and explains in detail about pronunciation, grammar, and cultural norms.
