I'm a 34 year old Canadian teacher. I enjoy the simplicity of nature and photography. I also love travelling and immersing myself in new cultures and environments. I've been teaching in schools and online for approximately seven years now. I pride myself on offering personalized and authentic lessons, helping you along your language journey as best as I can. Everybody has different needs, goals, and expectations. I always take time to deepen my connection with students, allowing me to offer the best classes possible. Conversational style lessons. I take notes during our time together and send them after the lesson. I get you ready for real life conversations and situations. Nothing mechanical and robotic. * I have also helped professionals write speeches for conferences, prepare PhD students for interviews, and translate subtitles for movies. * I have extensive experience working on reading skills with kids. I'd been looking for somebody with whom I could gladly while away an hour chatting about all manner of things, yet who could also help me shake the rust off my increasingly neglected English and I'll give ya that, David is absolutely exceptional in that respect! Talking to him has been an absolute pleasure. Not only have I learned a great deal along the way, but old words and expressions I had deemed long buried have clawed their way back to life from the graveyard of my memory :D Our chats never feel stiff or formulaic, they unfold more like genuinely engaging conversations that naturally sharpen your English before you even realise it.
