Hello everyone, my name is Jonathon. I'm here to guide you all in the basics of the Filipino language or as they pronounce it "Tagalog". I am looking forward in getting along with each other and get know more of each other. I am also looking forward in improving your skills and knowledge for this type of the topic.

Learning different languages and playing piano are both my favorite hobbies. Throughout my experiences, I have always enjoyed teaching other people how to play piano and speak German, Russian and Tagalog. I then decided to enter Italki with a hope of teaching Tagalog (and other languages soon) successfully. See you all real soon!

It was a good first lesson! It's hard to gauge my language level because I don't have much experience speaking tagalog but better on listening---but he was able to work with me and I was able to feel comfortable enough to speak and use some of the vocab I knew to make mistakes and try out speaking. He is very friendly and I hope to continue my lessons further here on Italki with Jonathon
