I've had thousands of lessons in various languages over the years, and Giannis is the best teacher I've had yet. He's intelligent, funny, and explains everything in simple Greek so that I can improve my listening comprehension and vocabulary. Exactly the kind of lessons I've been looking for. He gives me hope that one day I will actually manage to speak this beautiful and challenging language well. Highly recommended, five big stars!

I'm so glad I found this teacher via his sister Ioulia's Linguatree channel on YouTube. It was my 2nd lesson with Giannis today, and so far, I like Giannis' teaching method very much. In fact, I wish I started with him sooner. He is patient, approachable, and easy to get along with. He is very knowlesgeable, and he explains everything thoroughly in simple Greek and rarely uses English only when it's necessary. This is a great method for improving my Greek listening skills. Excellent organization of instruction.

I've been taking lessons from Giannis for some time now, and I couldn't be more pleased. He creates a very relaxed, non-judgmental atmosphere which allows me to make plenty of mistakes without ever feeling stupid, which is a must with a complex language like Greek. There's no pressure, just constant learning and gradual improvement, which is completely normal. He has a finely-developed sense of meaning and nuance, and is able to explain virtually anything in simple Greek without having to resort to English. Just a great teacher.

Even though his English is excellent, he knows exactly how to explain everything in simple Greek so that English is only the last resort. Gives me the confidence that is absolutely essential for a language learner with his unfailingly positive and encouraging manner. Simply outstanding.
