Débora was very relaxed and focused, while the same time interested in listening to me (the student) as I tried to link and make connections while attempting to converse and express my thoughts in Portuguese). She did this, while knowing when and where to jump in, make any corrections, ask for clarifications, as well as maintain a coherent and gradually progressive pace in the learning process, all in a relaxed atmosphere. I really like and appreciate Débora's honest and very accommodating approach in helping the student take their steps "into the unknown" of speaking in a language that puts the brain cells into overdrive, allowing them to take risks, but while also being there to correct any grammatical or pronunciation errors, as needed. An excellent grammar lesson today. I am starting to understand gerúndio in Portuguese. Professora Dêborah was very patient and helped me to figure it out at a pace that was appropriate for me and my learning.

Débora is very focused, attentive, and eager to help make any corrections (when necessary) while giving the student "the floor" to express, as she metaphorically holds your hand (the student) making sure that you have the time and space to express your thoughts in Portuguese. She does this by making sure she also gives the student the accurate terms/tense/conjugation/etc. of what is the best word or phrase best suited for the needed expression. Muito Obrigado!
