Hello! I’m David, a UK-based teacher who helps learners speak clearer, more confident English.
As well as teaching general English, I specialise in British pronunciation and professional communication so you can sound more natural in conversation and at work.
I’m CertTESOL qualified with over 15 years of international experience, having lived and taught in South Korea, Italy, and Brazil.
Outside the classroom, I’m a keen guitar player and I run a YouTube quiz channel. I also enjoy reading, listening to music, and when the weather is nice, walking in the British countryside.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
While we focus seriously on improving your English, I also believe lessons should be enjoyable and engaging. I aim to create a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, and improving step by step.
I have a strong interest in how English works, and not only its grammar and vocabulary, but also its pronunciation, sound production, connected speech, and intonation. This helps me explain clearly what is happening in your speech and how to improve it.

My lessons are divided into three focused streams:
1. British English Pronunciation Coaching: A deep dive into phonology. We cover vowel/consonant precision, the Schwa, word/sentence stress, and connected speech to help you sound more natural.
2. Business English for Professional: We focus on the language of work. I help you master the functional phrases needed for meetings, presentations, and interviews. We work on "diplomatic" English, expanding your professional vocabulary, and refining your delivery.

I really enjoyed my lessons with David. He was fully involved in teaching me, preparing each lesson with specific exercises and keeping track of my areas for improvement.
