Çiğdem is an excellent teacher! She always comes prepared with many materials and exercises and explains everything clearly (and in Turkish!) I really enjoy working with her :)

It is always such a pleasure to study with instructor Çiğdem. A doctoral student with a comprehensive knowledge and excellent teaching skills, she follows up her classes with relevant material, questions, answers, all in sharp details. My mistakes are corrected promptly and caringly. This very much supports my learning, especially at my age of 70. Additionally, Çiğdem's kindness and positive nature energizes and encourages me. Çiğdem is an amazing teacher, and I would HIGHLY recommend her. She speaks Turkish throughout the lesson, but always at a level I can understand- even as a beginner. After class, she sends a helpful document with all the words and phrases we used, which makes reviewing much easier. Turkish used to feel like a struggle, but learning with Çiğdem has made it not only easier, but fun. I really appreciate her use of repetition; she doesn’t just teach something once and move on. We revisit topics often, which helps a lot. She’s also flexible and adjusts the pace based on what I need. Every lesson has been enjoyable, and I truly wish I could have class with her every day. She makes me excited to learn, and I can’t say enough good things. If you’re looking for a supportive, skilled, and engaging Turkish tutor, Çiğdem is the one!

Çiğdem is such a great teacher! The whole lesson flew by in a very natural way. She knows what questions to ask and corrects any mistakes in a way that is so easy to understand. I had an amazing time and would definitely recommend!!
